May 2009 When planner Martin Cole R.I.P., asked around in the office if anyone wanted to create a music video for his mate’s band, we jumped on the bandwagon straight away and thought why not? Let’s make it really hard for us and do a 3 min stop frame animation of face paint… with a painted mouth singing all the lyrics!

We shot the entire video on 4,816 stills and also uploaded them to Flickr for everyone to see and use to create their own little edits http://bit.ly/189a1c We also hid an easter egg in the video with a free download of a remix of the track.

The video was realeased on Youtube and Vimeo but got picked up by MTV, BBC and bloggers worldwide who spread it via Twitter. We ended up getting two nominations in the UK music Video Awards 2009 for ‘Best Budget Video’ and ‘Best Editing’.

	When the video was released it got over 100,000 views within the first two weeks. It was then picked up by bloggers worldwide and spread like wildfire via Twitter. (it was even talked about in Second Life) But mostly it introduced the band to a broader audience.
